Fair Trade—Just How “Fair” Are the Exchanges?

Well, this article mostly shows us the relationship if the conventional trade between South producers and North purchasers. And how the stakeholders have structured their actions. In this article, a stakeholder means an actor that is directly or indirectly involved in the fair trade commodity chain. Fair trade is a socially constructed notion as it involves a set of interactions and negotiations. Stakeholders give a great importance to the notion of fairness. But we are still left with the question of what they mean by fairness.
 

I would recomend you all to read this article and you would learn more about how the fair trades organization work with the stakeholders, and also the controversy that this could bring in order to be Fair as a consumer or a producer.
